QR Studio
Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of the QR Studio service (the Service) available at qrstudio.cz. By creating an account or using features that require registration, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Operator
The operator of the Service is the controller named in the Privacy Policy. Contact: info@qrstudio.cz.
2. Service Description
QR Studio is a web application for generating QR codes. Basic features are available without registration. After registering you additionally get:
- Storage of QR codes and organization into folders.
- Dynamic QR codes with editable target and scan statistics.
- Cross-device synchronization.
3. Account and Eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Provide a valid email address at sign-up. One user = one account (unless agreed otherwise).
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect account misuse.
4. Acceptable Use
When using the Service you must not:
- Create QR codes that link to illegal content (malware, phishing, child sexual abuse material, incitement to violence, etc.).
- Include personal data of third parties in QR codes without their consent or legal basis.
- Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications.
- Attempt to bypass security or use automated access (bots, scraping) contrary to technical limits.
- Overload infrastructure with excessive requests (DoS, mass generation).
- Reproduce, resell or rebrand the Service to third parties without the operator written consent.
Violations of these rules may result in account suspension or termination without compensation.
5. User Content and Intellectual Property
- Content you put into QR codes (URLs, texts, logos) remains your property. You grant us a limited license to process and store this data only to deliver the Service.
- You warrant that you have the right to upload all content (especially logos). The operator is not liable for user-side copyright infringement.
- The QR Studio logo, name, design and application code are protected by operator rights. The QR code specification itself is a public standard (ISO/IEC 18004).
6. Service Availability
- The Service is provided as is without any guarantee of continuous availability.
- We may perform maintenance or temporary outages. We try to announce planned downtime in advance.
- We back up data, but recommend exporting important content (e.g. statistics) locally.
7. Pricing
The Service is currently provided free of charge. The operator reserves the right to introduce paid plans. Any change will be announced at least 30 days in advance and does not affect historically generated codes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages (lost profits, data, business opportunities) arising from use or unavailability of the Service. Consumer rights under the Civil Code remain unaffected.
9. Account Termination
- You can delete your account at any time in account settings or by email. Deletion is irreversible and removes all stored QR codes and statistics within 30 days.
- After account deletion, dynamic QR codes stop working. Convert any printed dynamic codes to static codes beforehand if needed.
- The operator may terminate accounts for material breach of these terms, fraud, or inactivity longer than 24 months (with prior notice).
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in-service notice and request fresh acceptance. If you do not accept, you can close your account.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Czech law. Disputes are decided by the competent court at the consumer residence or operator seat. Consumer disputes may also be resolved out of court via the Czech Trade Inspection (coi.cz) or the ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
